For the record, Blake isn't as irresponsible as it might appear here(and as Toni is probably thinking): he's not rushing off without knowing where the place actually is. He and Charlie saw it when Charlie was dropping him off, and shared a chuckle over it, probably with some mutual teasing.
Neither of them actually expected it'd make Blake a decent bit of money. Hybrids could manifest any of the species lurking in the past several generations of their ancestry, and some combinations aren't very likely to go to term; "pure" donors are thus greatly preferred. And in the case of rare species(especially those that we would think of as extinct, but which may still be found in the comic), hard to come by.
Also, I'm sure we can all tell where this situation is going, can't we?
